i don't really like posting anymore. i feel like i have nothing to say. and then i feel boring. so i try to make up things that would be interesting to other people reading this, and then i feel fake. so i end up erasing whatever i had written and not posting for three weeks.
but i am really content with life. i think because it's a contentment inspite of things and people. it's a choice and there's a kind of power in that.
ok i really can;t think clearly right now because the only computer that's working is in my parent's room and i'm trying to type as they watch a korean soap opera and i think the music is actually killing me slowly. i can feel the brain cells dieing. so that is all.

oh brother jingsiu, just freakin turn around because your blind lady love is right behind you! and what's this?! she has the eye cancer!?! oh life, oh love, oh koreans and your plot twists.

so i was planning on writing a huge post on my bungee jumping experience involving and examining all the details of my solo ferry rides and the feelings involved in my actual jump, but it all seems so long ago that it feels lame to recap. so basically it was one of the coolest and most terrifying things i've ever done. i'm amazed that i actually did it. after i got off and had to climb the million stairs up from the river, my knees collapsed and i had to lie on the stairs and just shake for a while. awesome.
the move is finally complete. it was exhausting to say the least but so good now. i'm loving the new house. all are invited to come and have a barbeque at my house...if you bring the barbeque. up side, we've got the bocce. the yard is huge and for some reason the house makes me feel extremely domestic. I've dabbled in decorating and lugged furniture, dis-assembled book shelves (WITH power tools), made a chair (aka opened a box and assembled the pre-packaged nuts and bolts) and gardened (involving a green watering can i found in the garage). i've been over come by a seemingly insatiable desire to plant and harvest a crop of some kind in the small garden plot in the back yard. considering i know NOTHING about gardening any and all advice would be greatly appreciated, including and, most importantly, what the heck i should plant. right now i should go because i am off to stain lawn furniture. (who AM i?)
leaving on sunday to counsel at camp for two weeks.
aiya.
