i used to think i only cried at stupid things because i was ovulating. like at the end of Home Alone, three times during Walk the Line, and bawling during Rent. But i realized yesterday, its just because i'm a sissy. after dinner my mom, dad and i sat around the table listening to Simon and Garfunkle songs. The song America came on and we all went quiet and listened to it. by the end of the song we were all crying, reaching for napkins over cold chinese food and dirty dishes. it was kind of amazing actually. and then we ate mango cake. its a good thing Safeway has made it so easy to satisfy the emptiness and aching.

i've started knitting again. it's basically all i can htink about. i knit for so long saturday night, i think by 1:30 sunday morning i actually got motion sickness.
